My honest book reviews…
I am an avid reader and a bookworm. I don’t have enough room in my house to keep the many books that I read. I can’t get enough! You can usually find me reading a book pool side on a sunny day while on vacation or reading at home while snuggling on the sofa with a cozy blanket and a hot cup of tea. Reading transports me to another world where anything is possible.
I have curated this list of books, which are powerful, empowering, self-helpful and most of all, inspiring. My goal is to provide you with a sneak peak of the book I am reading, .why you should also read it and what I learned from reading it. Hopefully, me reading these books will help navigate my life better and will also help you. So “Stop Waiting” and grab that book!
Spice : The History Of a Temptation Review - By Jack Turner

Ugly Love - By Colleen Hoover
February is month of love, red roses and candy hearts. With Valentines Day around the corner, I decided to read some romance novels. I have heard a lot about Colleen Hoover with fans devouring and taunting her books to read. I started with my first book of hers, Ugly Love. In researching her book, I found out this book almost became a movie.
The Girl with Dragon Tattoo - By Stieg Larsson
One of the most fascinating books with female protagonist. She is brazen, wild, raunchy, carefree but at the same time, cares about people she loves and believes in doing the right thing. Book also talks about how Swedish society has evolved over the years and how women are subjected to suppression, abuse and suffering. Few of the books for which I have skipped meals and sacrificed sleep and read it till the end.
How to Win Friends and Influence People - By Dale Carnegie
This is one book you hear a lot about but you don’t know what you are missing until you read it for yourself. It’s a book that’s been around for a while but it still does very well and is still relevant to todays world. Being an avid reader, I have heard of this book from other authors even these authors quoting from Mr. Carnegie’s book. This is not just a tell all about what to do but it leads by example. Story after story about the great tycoons and men from history. I learned some stories about these leaders that I didn’t even know about. These stories are not only educational supporting his principles he teaches but also entertaining. This is not just a book to read if you are in the business world or in a leadership role but everyone can benefit from this book. It does help as a social experiment and how to relate to others. Let’s face it, we all can use the help we can get when we are handling people and make our relationships, be they personal or professional, better. Dealing with people is not an easy feat.
