My honest book reviews…
I am an avid reader and a bookworm. I don’t have enough room in my house to keep the many books that I read. I can’t get enough! You can usually find me reading a book pool side on a sunny day while on vacation or reading at home while snuggling on the sofa with a cozy blanket and a hot cup of tea. Reading transports me to another world where anything is possible.
I have curated this list of books, which are powerful, empowering, self-helpful and most of all, inspiring. My goal is to provide you with a sneak peak of the book I am reading, .why you should also read it and what I learned from reading it. Hopefully, me reading these books will help navigate my life better and will also help you. So “Stop Waiting” and grab that book!
Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed is an emotionally gripping and inspiring memoir that delves into the depths of human resilience and transformation. At 26 years old, reeling from the death of her mother, the disintegration of her family, and the dissolution of her young marriage, Strayed makes the impulsive decision to hike more than a thousand miles of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) alone. With no prior long-distance hiking experience, Strayed's journey is both a physical challenge and an emotional pilgrimage.
